How Much does a shark cage diving trip in South Africa cost?

Below is our 2020 Pricelist:

  • Adult Diver: R2300 per person
  • Adult Non- Diver: R2100 per person
  • Children between 8 and 12 years: R 17500

  • You do not need any diving experience when you go down in the shark cage
  • We do not use scuba equipment in the cage as research has shown that the bubbles might frighten the sharks away
  • The cage is made of 12mm galvanized steel mesh and takes up to 8 divers
  • The diving cage floats next to the boat and is attached to the boat at all times
  • You simply hold your breath and on command will go down under water. The shark will swim away before you are out of breath
  • Shark Cage Diving is safe for children and elders and gives the whole family a wonderful opportunity to bond in a fun environment surrounded by fellow shark lovers
  • Sharks are surface feeders and therefore surface viewing from the boat is trip -for -trip as spectacular as from the cage
  • Included in the shark diving trip price is equipment such as wetsuits, booties, masks, and towels. Life jackets and a waterproof jacket are also supplied.
  • We have enough wetsuits to ensure that every dive is done with dry diving gear
  • We undertake shark cage diving trips 7 days a week, all year round except Christmas & Boxing Day ( 25 & 26 December) and New Year (1January0
  • The shark cage diving trip starts in Kleinbaai harbour as this is the closest launch site to our dive locations
  • The duration of the trip is open-ended, depends on the weather/sea conditions and is subject to availability
  • We advise you to make the whole day available as the launch times can only be confirmed the day before your dive
  • It might also be wise to set aside more than one day for shark cage diving when on holiday, as the trip is weather dependent and when sea conditions change rapidly, we might have to cancel the trip and reschedule to another date
